I spent most of life in Andalusia between Cordoba and Cadiz and I've always marveled at the clarity and strength of colors, which give the character of Andalusia. I live in Alicante and in terms of color and light have nothing to envy to Andalusia so I'm at home.

One thing I must thank the painting is that it has taught me to look, and when you look at nature through the eyes of painter (even a rookie like me) is enriched in a wondrous vision, and with it the spirit.
